My favourite photography spot

Image
Portstewart and Portrush is my favourite spot to capture landscapes, nature and amazing images of the sea/beaches. Apart from being my favourite photography spot, it is also my favourite place to visit near me. From early memories from childhood to solo dates along the coast, it has a homely feel and will be a special place to me.  The allure of photography lies in its ability to freeze a moment in time, capturing the essence and beauty of a place. When it comes to picturesque landscapes and captivating scenes, few places rival the charm of the North Coast.  1. Scenic Variety One of the primary reasons the North Coast is a haven for photographers is its diverse range of landscapes. From rugged coastlines to lush forests and charming seaside villages, this region provides a rich tapestry of scenes to photograph. The ever-changing weather and light conditions add an extra layer of dynamism, ensuring that no two moments are the same. 2. Golden Hour Magic The magical time shortly ...

A month in Malia

Image
A summer spent in Greece In the heart of Crete lies a small town that comes alive in the summer – Malia. My friend and I decided we wanted to do something a little different this summer. We wanted longer than a week of fun and sunshine. This is when we decided to book a flight to Greece and live there for a month! Join me as I reminisce about my time working in Malia, an unforgettable journey. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be the summer of a lifetime! The streets buzzed with a lively energy, to meeting a stranger wo we were going to be sharing a room. We made connections with people very quickly and soon discovered we had made friends for life. After a few days of allowing ourselves to settle in, we decided to look for jobs on the stirp. With it full of workers from all over the world, we knew everywhere would be hiring. We decided to try a PR job for a bar on the strip. We enjoyed this work as we got to talk to many new people. After a few nights working there ...

Travel Tips and Pack Essentials

Image
let me help you... Travel Tips 1. Research Your Destination Before you start packing, take some time to research your destination. Understand the local culture, weather, and any specific travel advisories. This knowledge will not only help you pack appropriately but also enhance your overall travel experience. 2. Create a Checklist Prepare a comprehensive checklist of items you need to bring. Categorize your list into clothing, toiletries, electronics, and important documents. Having a checklist ensures that you don't forget any essential items and helps you stay organized. 3. Pack Light One of the golden rules of travel is to pack light. Choose versatile clothing items that can be mixed and matched, and opt for lightweight, wrinkle-resistant fabrics. A smaller, well-organized suitcase will make navigating airports and hotels much more manageable. 4. Roll, Don't Fold Maximize space in your suitcase by rolling your clothes instead of folding them. This technique not only saves ...

From stunning architectural buildings to some of the most iconic tourist attractions. If you have never visited Amsterdam I hope this blog will influence you to book that flight! My two friends and I went on a 3 day trip to Amsterdam in January. Always wanting to go I was absolutely buzzing when we booked this one! We went during winter therefore, we did not get the best weather however, it did not bother us. The transport in Amsterdam is outstanding, our hotel was 20 minutes away from the centre therefore, we had to get the tram. They are easily navigated and will get you any where. I recommended buying a pass for all the days you will be there as it will save you time and money! My first recommendation is... 📍Moco Museum  Moco museum is known for its focus on modern art, including work by renowned artists and street art, with famous names such as Banksy. The ...

A hidden gem in Ireland

No more gatekeeping... Adara, Donegal  Staycations and road trips in Ireland is one of life's simple pleasures. Each year my family and I head on an adventure to the south to places we have never visited before. Now I am older I have began to go on these road trips and staycations with my friends.  Therefore... this blog is dedicated to just that; the first time my friends and I went to Adara and discovered how it was a massive hidden gem. In summer 2022, my friends and I went on our first every 'lads holiday' to Greece for a week. Although after being home for 2 weeks we started to reminisce and miss being on holiday together. Therefore, we decided to book a staycation for 3 nights to Adara in Donegal. We packed our bags, jumped in our cars and enjoyed car pool karaoke the whole way.  Once we arrived in Adara we thought we had driven to the wrong place, it had a few bars, a corner shop and a couple of takeaways. We decided we would find our B&B (which wasn't hard) ...
