Hello everyone welcome to my blog, my name is Ellen and I am currently a second year marketing student at ulster university. I have been asked to create a blog as part of my assignment for digital analytics. 

This blog will consist of everything travel! From staycations in Ireland to city-breaks. I will be sharing my favourite destinations so far, along with a few hidden gems I have discovered in these beautiful places. In relation to this I will talk about the best tips and tricks, and my personal recommendations in hope I encourage you to book that flight!

A hidden gem in Ireland

No more gatekeeping... Adara, Donegal  Staycations and road trips in Ireland is one of life's simple pleasures. Each year my family and I head on an adventure to the south to places we have never visited before. Now I am older I have began to go on these road trips and staycations with my friends.  Therefore... this blog is dedicated to just that; the first time my friends and I went to Adara and discovered how it was a massive hidden gem. In summer 2022, my friends and I went on our first every 'lads holiday' to Greece for a week. Although after being home for 2 weeks we started to reminisce and miss being on holiday together. Therefore, we decided to book a staycation for 3 nights to Adara in Donegal. A month in Malia

A summer spent in Greece In the heart of Crete lies a small town that comes alive in the summer – Malia. My friend and I decided we wanted to do something a little different this summer. We wanted longer than a week of fun and sunshine. This is when we decided to book a flight to Greece and live there for a month! Join me as I reminisce about my time working in Malia, an unforgettable journey. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be the summer of a lifetime! The streets buzzed with a lively energy, to meeting a stranger wo we were going to be sharing a room. We made connections with people very quickly and soon discovered we had made friends for life.
